Today I am very privileged to be attending my friends wedding at the very beautiful Stubton Hall in Newark.

OK… so I am getting excited about the summer already and am thinking of ideas for a garden party to raise money for The Childrens Air Ambulance. So I want to have a ‘Pimms & Games on the Lawn Party’… very excited!

I was even more excited when I saw this gorgeous photograph with glass drink dispensers and jars with straws & lemon slices… this is a must at a garden party, isn’t it!?

So my first attempt at coconut ice squares went down very well with the folks at work! I was very impressed with the reactions so I will definitely be making them again. I just need slightly less icing sugar as it was pretty sweet!

Are you a savoury or a sweet pancake muncher?

Lemon, syrup, cheese, fruit, squirty cream… ?

My favourite is to have a couple of savouries first with cheese, chilli powder and basil… then I’ll have a couple of sweet with fruit, preferably raspberries and blueberries and a touch of squirty cream or syrup on the side!
