Well last night the ladies and I headed off to Escabeche for a lovely meal to celebrate Steph’s Birthday… and what a treat it was too!

Our waitress was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, the food was completely delicious, the drinks were spot on and the atmosphere was relaxed. 

We started by sharing a jug of Pimms and enjoyed some pitta bread with a selection of very tasty dips. We decided to all share all of the dishes so we selected 15 between 5 of us which was just the right amount, we were pleasantly full by the end of it. I think the honey marinated chorizo was my favourite!

I was a little concerned about the idea of tapas as it makes me think of squid, octopus and prawns, all of which I hate! So I was very please to see there was a great selection of fish, meat and veggie dishes and we didn’t order a single squid!!

In the end we spent £20 per person and had the most fabulous evening… I would highly recommend Escabeche and hope you enjoy a lovely evening there too.
